By calling ahead, one day visits may be scheduled at no charge. For longer visits a formal request for access must be generated by the requestor on his or her institute letterhead.  This letter must contain the dates of access requested, a brief but complete description of the project, specimens or collections required, equipment required, and anticipated publication venues. Non-US citizens should include a copy of their passport.

The Anatomy Center charges a per day, per week, per month fee to all grant supported or corporate researchers. For further information please email us. Any researcher may schedule a one day visit to the collection for assessment purposes at no cost.

Equipment; available to on site researchers:

• compound microscopes and stereoscope
• digital and 35mm camera bodies and attachments
• computer workstations
• large RAID for data storage
• temporary network connection for data transfer

Services for offsite researchers

• limited reprint or photo searches
• digital or print copies of images from the collections
• copies of reprints in electronic or print form

Fees for non-self service prints and copies

Costs for large volume copying projects will be negotiated on a per project basis.

All electronic images and documents will be posted for download from an anonymous ftp site for 30 days unless other arrangements are requested.

Shipping costs for all non electronic media may be additional.
